The Quincy Saints were initially formed over 30 years ago as a homeschool sports program, but over time, it has become more than that – a community of people dedicated to investing in the lives of homeschool youth. It has been and continues to be a volunteer led offering girls volleyball and boys basketball. In recent years the program has grown to offer cheerleading and trap shooting while interest in other programs continue to be discussed.
At its core, the Saints are a Christian community developing athletes, shaping character, building relationships, and fostering a strong spiritual foundation. Our desire is that every child who comes through the Saints feels known, supported, and encouraged to grow into a Christ-centered life.

Nic Frericks
Me and my wife, Dana, are the parents of 2 homeschooled daughters: Greenlee and Marabelle.
I own and operate a Sports Card Consignment company, but prior to that, I worked for 7 years in both public and private schools as an educator and high school basketball coach.
For the last decade+ of my life, mentoring and guiding the youth has been a large part of my life - from public education and athletics, to now discipling our own children. I am excited to walk alongside other homeschool families in this project that I am certain will create endless opportunities for community, discipleship, and leadership development for decades to come.
Luke Haubrich
Luke serves as a board member for the Saints Community Center Project. He is passionate about creating a place where local youth and families can grow through athletics, mentorship, faith, and community involvement.
Professionally, Luke is the owner of Elite Outdoor, a landscape and outdoor living company serving the Quincy area. He is committed to delivering quality work, creating meaningful career opportunities for his team, and using his business to give back and make a positive impact throughout the community.
Luke and his wife, Jeanne, are raising their two children, Heather and Owen, in the Quincy area. His faith and family are at the center of his life, and he believes strongly in investing in the next generation. Luke is excited to help expand opportunities for young athletes, homeschool families, and the greater Quincy community through the Saints Community Center Project.

Professionally, Greg works as an attorney at Dot Foods and has been there over 15 years. Personally, he is an imperfect person reorienting his life around loving God and others, raising his children with a Biblical worldview, and is excited about creating a place where local homeschool families can thrive together in faith, athletics, and community.

Jeptha is married to Fannie Yoder and together have five children Victoria, Shane, Viviana, Vaydah, and Liam. All which are homeschooled and are actively involved in Saints sports programs. Fannie has served on the Saints Volleyball board for the last 4 years and has seen first-hand the need for a home facility for the homeschool community and for future generations in this program.
Ben Wingerter
My name is Ben Wingerter. My wife Lyric and I have two young kids, and we plan to homeschool them when they’re old enough. Because of that, this project is personal to me. I want to help build something that my own family can be a part of one day while also creating opportunities for other homeschool families in our community.
I’ve also had the privilege of being involved with the Saints community for many years, first as a Quincy Saints basketball player and now serving as a basketball coach. It’s been a blessing to see how this community has impacted so many families, and I’m thankful for the opportunity to give back in a small way.
I’m excited to serve on the Saints Community Center Board because I believe it has the potential to strengthen and encourage homeschool families for years to come. My prayer is that God uses this effort to serve others well, and that through it all He receives the glory.
